2. ODxWidthxID (DxTxH) in inches. Some wheels come with a bushing to accommodate various spindle/arbor sizes.  If the centerhole size is too big for your spindle/arbor, you may order a telescopic bushing for the ID that will reduce the bore size to fit your arbor.   Please send us an email to ask about a specific wheel or if a specific bushing is available.  To purchase a bushing, click here.

Guide To Selecting Your Wheel
Grey and Brown grit wheels are tough aluminum oxide grit for general purpose grinding.  Typically used on bench grinders and where low price is a factor, these wheels will grind most anything.  They last long, are aggressive and are widely available in a variety of sizes, grits sizes, and hardnesses.

Grit size of 60 is generally considered to be medium size which will produce a good finish and aggressive cutting action.  36/46 grit is slightly more aggressive and should be used where fast stock removal is desired regardless of finish.  100 grit should be used for finishing or where a good surface finish is desired.

Most of our wheels offered here are 'H', 'I' or 'J' grade hardness which is medium and is suitable for 90% of applications.
