An extremely tough grit that remains sharp when it fractures thereby maintaining an aggressive grind throughout. Typically used in roughing operations where aggressive stock removal and long life are required. These wheels can last 3 to 4 times longer than conventional aluminum oxide grit wheels if used properly. Best results will be achieved with coolant. Vitrified bond. Medium hardness (H, I, J or K letter grade) is used to grind a wide variety of steels, and primarily on hardened steels and tool steels (Rockwell 'C' >45)..
