Primarily used to grind hardened steels and tool steels (Rockwell 'C' >45). Less friable than white, use where a slightly more aggressive wheel is needed. Suitable for wet or dry grinding but best results will be achieved with coolant. Vitrified bond. Medium hardness (H, I, J or K letter grade) is suitable for most applications.
