Like white grit, pink grit is excellent on hardnened steels (Rockwell 'C' 50+) but it is slightly tougher than white. Still a friable, cool cutting wheel it is used where more aggressive stock removal is needed. Good for rough and finish grind. Can be run wet or dry.
